Based in Emerald, GRS Mechanical is locally-driven and specialises in major overhauls, field service and labour hire for the mining industry throughout the Bowen Basin region. As a service provider, the company's employees are critical and the quality of service provided by those people determines their success.

About the Opportunity

GRS Mechanical is seeking several experienced Diesel Fitters and Boilermakers to join their team in Emerald.

The main aim of these roles are to provide skills and competencies associated with the maintenance and service on various types of heavy equipment.

GRS Mechanical is looking for effective team players who are also able to operate autonomously. Attention to detail and a 'can do' attitude are vital, as is a flexible approach to work. Both roles will involve working on site as well as at the Emerald based workshop, dependent on project requirements and the availability of travel to and from mine sites.

If successful, you will be provided with ongoing training with a wealth of opportunities for career advancement.

GRS Mechanical offers stable, full time employment, and both roles will be rewarded with an excellent remuneration package, up to $36 per hour, (commensurate with experience) plus penalties. You will also enjoy a weekly housing subsidy of up to $150, combined with relocation assistance if required.
